Massa: The area of Massa-Carrara is always strictly connected with the well-known LARDO DI COLONNATA, once a very poor food, nowadays one of the most delicious typical Tuscan product. In the area we put in evidence also the the lamb of Zeri, which meat, very tender and sweet to the palate, has a very definite fragrance and the the testaroli of Lunigiana cooked under the ashes and seasoned with pesto or olive oil and grated ewes cheese (pecorino).
